The Carter Lake service center is moving and improving!

We're expanding in the heart of the Midwest! 
Alfa Laval continues to make investments in its capabilities in the USA, all designed for us to be even closer to our customers. Our latest investment includes a new state-of-the-art service center in Des Moines, Iowa.

On December 9, we will begin the relocation of our Carter Lake service center to Des Moines. The new facility is strategically located near two major interstates and is nearly double the size of the Carter Lake location. This will allow for us to recondition up to 35,000 plates annually, service heat exchangers up to the TL35 size, and accommodate the increasingly popular vendor stocking programs. We’ll also be equipped for decanter centrifuge repairs, and will eventually offer full service and reconditioning.

Customers should be aware the following important information:

• December 6, 2019 - The last day that the Carter Lake facility will accept shipments. All shipments received after this date should be delivered to the Des Moines service center.

• Please continue to contact your local Alfa Laval representative regarding new orders. They will be working closely with our internal team during this transition. Some orders may be rerouted to other Alfa Laval service centers to provide the shortest lead time.

• On January 2, 2020, the Des Moines facility will be open for business!
