Ester Codina named managing director for Alfa Laval US Sales Company and cluster president for North America
Alfa Laval has named Ester Codina managing director for the Alfa Laval US Sales Company and cluster president for North America.
RICHMOND, VA., March 1, 2022—Alfa Laval has named Ester Codina managing director for the Alfa Laval US Sales Company and cluster president for North America. Ms. Codina succeeds Jo Vanhoren who has been named president of Alfa Laval’s Business Unit Welded Heat Exchangers in its Energy Division.
Ms. Codina assumed the position on March 1, 2022, after serving as senior vice president of Alfa Laval’s US Service and Marine divisions, where she streamlined operations to be more effective and better support Alfa Laval customers; increased the US Net Promotor Score (NPS) and overall customer satisfaction; and led double digit growth in the Service division since joining Alfa Laval in July, 2019.
Prior to joining Alfa Laval, Ms. Codina was managing director for Sandvik in Mexico. She also held various marketing and business development leadership positions for Sandvik in Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. She has a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate program in Sales and Marketing from the London Business School.
Ms. Codina will be based in Alfa Laval’s US headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.
