Powering energy efficiency in Canada

Alfa Laval was proud to join the Canada-Sweden state visit in November for the 5th Sweden–Canada Innovation Days. Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, and Ebba Busch, Minister of Energy, Business and Industry and Deputy Prime Minister met with Canadian leaders.

Ester Codina, President Alfa Laval North America, had the honor of attending the exclusive royal delegation dinner. Nicholas Newman, Managing Director Alfa Laval Canada, took part in the Electrification panel highlighting:

• Energy efficiency as a key driver for business and sustainability
• Scalable, proven technologies ready to meet today’s challenges
• The importance of efficiency at both industrial and system levels

Panel participants also included representatives from Electricity Canada, Brookfield Renewables, Hydro Ottawa and the Swedish Energy Agency.
