Alfa Laval to showcase industry’s largest separation technology for distillers corn oil recovery at FEW 2025
Alfa Laval is proud to announce the launch of its largest separation solution to date—the Prodec 72 Oil Plus decanter centrifuge.
This next-generation platform is engineered to significantly increase distillers corn oil (DCO) yield and purity. Depending on the plant's baseline performance, it can boost oil recovery by more than 20%, with oil purity reaching 99%. In many installations, recovery has increased by over 30%, and in at least one case, the improvement exceeded 50%. (Click here to read Denco’s full story.)
“Alfa Laval recognizes FEW as a critical forum for innovation and collaboration in the ethanol industry,” said Stephen Ludes, Sales Manager, Alfa Laval US. “This year, we are proud to spotlight our latest advancement: our largest decanter centrifuge for corn oil recovery.”
Developed in close collaboration with customers, this cutting-edge solution is designed to deliver both operational profitability and environmental benefits. It supports Alfa Laval’s mission to enhance energy efficiency, minimize environmental impact, and promote responsible use of natural resources.
